I'm writing this on Friday, but scheduling it to post on Saturday. By that time, I'll be at the baby shower and there won't be any danger of my daughter seeing any of this before the party!
So here's what I've been up to this week:
I used this great free pattern from Sew4Home for this adorable set! I had to change it a bit because I couldn't find the double loop stop so I turned it into a 2 sided drawstring bag instead. I also added this darling pink twill ribbon that I borrowed from my scrapbooking stash. I cut the twill ribbon into labels and stitched it on. I found the fun heart shaped suspender clips here on Etsy. |
This is what is looks like with the pacifiers and leashes inside :) |
I used the free tutorial from Lemon Squeezy Home to make this Hand Sanitizer Holder. I made mine 2" shorter and 1/2 wider to better fit the Target brand hand sanitizer. |
It attaches easily to your purse or diaper bag! No more digging around when you have your hands full to begin with! |
I made this nursing cover from my own pattern. |
I used boning to make the curve so you can see your baby easily. |
Just like the burp cloths I made for Sofia, I embroidered a small heart with an "E" inside for little Evie :) |
And these are the tissue covers I made for party favors. I tried to use different styles of fabric and still keep everything pretty much pink! |
Now it's time to par-tay! I'll post pics from the party on Monday!
looks fab!!!! Can't wait to hear you regale us with the party deets and the squeals of joy form the girls!!
ReplyDeleteyour first pdf pattern should be the nursing cover!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as usual Karen! Love the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteGreat goodies! I myself sew baby gifts. There will always be new babies born. I am interested in seeing a better view of the pleats on the nursing cover. Everything is so cute. And the party favors are practical. I would much rather get something I can use than something that will just sit there.
