Getting ready....

In 5 short weeks we will leave for CA.
My mom is turning 80 and we will be having
a party to celebrate her with all our friends and family.
We will be leaving CA the next day
to drive to St Charles MO. for the Needlework Galleria.

This will be our first Needlework show as a vendor.
I used to travel for work years ago
attending trade shows twice a year
but this is the first time it will be for SewMuch2Luv.
We are excited to see how it goes.

We've been busy getting things ready.
We now have more than 60 stitchable stockings,
170 side kicks, 40+ Lil' Big Bottom Bags
and I'm currently working on the larger bags.

In between I've been working on regular orders
as well as custom orders.
I always love doing custom work.

And I have to show you the garden my hubby planted for me :)
Our 12 foot sunflowers are almost at 6 foot now
and the pumpkin patch has flowers,
so we are on our way!

July Bag of the Month and a few others :)

Since moving to Idaho in January
we have started a Bag of the Month Club.
This is the July package.
I can share it now
as my customers have all received their surprise packages.
It's been so much fun to find the fun themed tuck ins
that go in every month's packages.
The cost is $40.00 with free shipping in the USA.
If anyone is interested in joining,
please email me with your email address
and I can send you the info.

This is one of the fun bags I listed in the shop yesterday.
It's just so bright and fun!

These 2 feature hand drawn pen and ink artwork
by the Artist Michelle Palmer.
Her work is ah-mazing!!!
I love trying to find just the perfect fabric
s to showcase her artwork.

Well I'd better get back to work.
The August Bag of the Month bags won't sew themselves......

Stitchy Goodness :)

This is "She Seeks Wool" by Teresa Kogut.
Isn't she awesome?
Of course I had to add some red :)
Once I had her stitched I decided to turn her into
a project bag for myself.
I love the way she came out.

Yesterday was a rainy day here in Idaho
so I decided to drink some hot tea
and do some stitching.
So I started "Warm Winter Woolens" by LHN.
I'll show you my progress next time.
I hope you are all having a wonderful day!!!
I'll be back in a day or so with the details of my new
Birthday Club :)

Long time no see....

Wow!
Has it really been since June?
I'm not even really sure if anyone reads this blog anymore.
I haven't had time to blog in quite a while.
My little etsy shop has turned into
a full time job.
I've been super busy sewing every single day.
It's a wonderful problem to have :)
This morning I actually took some time off
to sew something for myself.
I had recently finished this adorable
cross stitch piece.
It's the Dutch Doll by CrossStitchObessesion.etsy.com

I stitched her 1 over 1 on 28ct Jobelan so that she would
be small enough to use on a project bag.
I ordered this darling Dutch Tile fabric from Holland (HannahsCottonShop.etsy.com)
and I've been waiting for the chance to put it all together.

Now I have the perfect project bag to take with me
when I'm away from home.

Let me know what you are working on.
I'd love to hear from you!

Beach Bag Giveaway!!!

Oh my gosh!
I am having SO MUCH FUN stitching these
darling creatures!!!

I just finished #16 (Gigi Giraffe)
from the free Animal Advent series by Brooks Books.
So it seemed like a great time for another giveaway!
You can find the charts HERE.
She is generously offering these charts,
one per month through October 2015.
Each one is just so adorable!!!
I also joined her Facebook group for this series.
I am stitching these on 32ct Blue Petit Point Belfast Linen.

So what is this giveaway all about?
Well here's how it works.
Just leave me a message in the comments
with your guess of  which 3 of the following
completed animals are my personal favs.
You must have all 3 correct to win.
If no one gets all 3 right I'll choose a winner
from those who get 2 right :)

So what do you win?
This fun summer themed beachy project bag!!!

I will chose a winner at random
on Friday night June 12th
and post the name here on Saturday.

I'm feelin' Blue.....

Isn't this "Flow Blue" fabric  designed by Michelle Palmer
for Red Rooster fabrics just gorgeous???
I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love.
The bonus has been
that through my love for sewing
I have met some incredibly talented women.
Michelle is one of those talented women for sure!
If you read my blog regularly, you've seen her
hand drawn pen & ink artwork.
You can check out her etsy shop HERE.

She asked me if I would make her a bag
made from her new fabric line.
Of course I said YES!!!
It's like opening a new box of crayons
when I get to play with new fabrics.
She sent this amazingly delicate hand stitched lace.
Gorgeous right?

And the little birds on this print are just adorable :)
It's hard to pick a favorite from this line.
I love them all!
If you love it like I do,
check with your local quilt shop.
Happy Sewing!

Ok....I just had to share :)

Most days I'm overwhelmed and so very grateful
that God loves me and knows my name.
Then there are days when He blesses me
above and beyond anything I could imagine.
In June the Editor of Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine
contacted me about featuring my bags
in the "Fab Finds" section of the November issue!
It's finally here and I'm SO excited
and I SO appreciate all my wonderful customers
Thank you all!
You totally make what I do a joy every day!

I'm so excited....and I just can't hide it......

I'm super excited to share my news with you all!
Last year I was asked by the very talented
Cathy Haberman of Hands On Design
if I would be interested in designing a bag
around a chart she would design.
Of course I said YES!
This is what we came up with.
It's just so fun and bright
and represents all the things I love about stitching!
This pattern will be released at the upcoming
Needlework Show this month
and will be available to purchase
from your favorite Needlework shops very soon.
It just makes me want to dance :)

Purrr-fection!

As promised....
Here are the new bags and gift sets
featuring Michelle Palmer's crazy talents.
The cats are just Purrr-fection!
When I stumbled across this adorable fabric
by Robert Kaufman that is out of print,
I knew I had to snag it.
I've looked high and low to find more
but so far, no luck.

I asked Cherise to make the matching fob
and she also made this adorable frogger!
It's so cute it almost takes the pain
out of froggin' out your mistakes :)
I'm just in love with the hand made lampwork beads.

There is only 1 bag left from yesterday's listings.
So if you are interested in one of these,
jump over to the shop and grab it :)

Tis the Season

I just listed all these treasures in my shop.
Whenever I list bags with Michelle Palmer's
Ah-mazing artwork,
they tend to sell out the same day.
I just want to keep them all!

I've decided to add custom scissor fobs
made by my very talented friend Cherise Smith.
Now I want to keep them even MORE!!!
Serious cuteness!
I know I added lots of photos today,
but I just can't help myself.
I just have to share :)

Stop by tomorrow for some more
"Purr-fection" by Michelle :)

This mouse is just too cute!
If it doesn't sell today,
I may just have to keep this one myself :)
