Today is day 5 of the Pin-It! Blog Hop!
Thanks to Mdm Samm and our cheerleader Kristen @ Meadowbrook
for hosting such a fun hop!
There have been so many awesome pincushions so far
and I can't wait to see what today brings!
Click on the button on the right
to check out all the pincushions from last week
and follow the links at the bottom of this post
for all of today's creative goodness :)
For my pincushion
I decided to make a Minion for myself.
He is my own design
and I did not make a pattern.
I think like all Minions,
he should be unique :)
He is my own design
and I did not make a pattern.
I think like all Minions,
he should be unique :)
Because as we all know,
If I only had a Minion I could get more done :)
So I'd like to introduce you to Kevin.
He is my new helper.
Just look at those sweet eyes......
There is NO WAY
I could EVER stab him with a pin......
So instead,
I gave him his own little pincushion to hold :)
Problem solved.
Now he can just sit next to me
while I sew and smile his cute little smile.
He works for bananas,
so he's cheap labor easy to care for.
Check out these crazy talented bloggers!!!

ReplyDeleteSooooooooo cute he is.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Thank heavens you won't be stabbing him but he has his own version of a tomato cushion instead. Well done, Karen!
ReplyDeleteOh, I was getting worried there. I see these "live" critters and wonder how anyone could STICK A PIN in their heads! Gasp!! Too many owls and chickens and turkeys and cows are being stuck in this hop. Whew! You gave your little guy a real pin cushion. Thanks for that. I was worried someone would have to mop up some blood. And congrats on being one of the chosen by Madame Samm today.
ReplyDeleteYour own Minion---ingenious. Kevin is a keeper. Love his little pin cushion. Quite the photo shoot. All colour coordinated. Kevin is a styling guy. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on being chosen as one of the top 2 for today.

ReplyDeleteKevin is just too cute..love him!!! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! I would love a little Kevin in my quilt room!!
ReplyDeleteOh, so stinkin' cute! I love the minions! And I would probably not have a problem sticking pins in, it could look like hair on the top of his head... Gotta make one! And look at those little sparkly eyes... ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteOh he is so cute! Love it. We call the grandchildren the minions. Always want to help, but kind of create more mess than help!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a top 2 finish today. Very well deserved. Kevin is adorable. I understand not being able to stab him. I just posted about one pin cushion being so pretty that I'd having trouble putting a pin in it and Kevin is so adorable that I'd have trouble stabbing "him." His eyes just make me melt. Job well done! I always look forward to your posts and look forward to seeing you in more hops. Thanks for participating and being a great inspiration with your creativity.
