This is my first tiny house.
I'll admit that when I started the hand sewing,
I had already decided
that I was not enjoying the process at all.
But oddly, by the time it was done,
I fell in love with my little house!
I'm going to try the next one on my sewing machine
and see if I like it better.
I have prefection issues...I'll admit it.
But the "wonky factor" seems to lend a kind of charm.
We'll see if this little house is the first of many
or if I end up making a mug rug out of this one
and call it a day.
Looks sweet. Good luck with the next one!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Karen..so sweet! I am guessing you will continue to make more...
ReplyDeleteBarb
aren't they supposed to be a tad wonky?
ReplyDeleteI think the house is totally cute :-)! I want to try making one using my sewing machine; it will probably still be wonky, but I will totally give it a try :-).
ReplyDeletevery cute. love the colors. can't wait to see them all finished!
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job on this. I'll admit I hung it up after just one house. I paper-pieced mine. Once it was made, I knew I wouldn't be happy making a house a day. A mug rug is a good idea!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Embrace the wonky, wonky is good! I have perfection issues too but have learned to embrace the wonky.
