Work in progress

Isn't she cute? Only 6" tall :)
My very first Dresden!
I'm making a pillow for my living room
out of the scraps of my Hometown fabrics.
This is all I have left and I'm going to use every morsel!!!

Take a look at this fantastic table topper my friend Denise
made for me! How perfect is that?????

I also fed my addiction just a bit more this week.
Look what the mailman brought me!
I had to browse around over at Cotton Charm
one more time and picked up some more fabric
and 3 more patterns and 26 yards of rick rack.
(does that seem like a lot of rick rack?)

I quickly organized my rick rack and now it's ready
for whatever project might need just a little "something" :)

I'm pretty sure I'm done shopping....

for a while......

really :)

  1. The dresden is adorable (they scare me). I love the layout of the table topper your friend made for you!

  2. LOVE that dresden! OMGoodness she is cute! I may have to create her "twin"!

  3. Your little dresden looks great. I recently saw a quilt where they used little dresdens and appliqued a stem and leaves on the bottom making them into flowers. I think the little ones would be great for that.

  4. Love that tiny Dresden! Too much rick rack? Impossible.

  5. Dresdens are beautiful and....addicting! Your's is adorable!

  6. lovin' your "Hometown" projects. my DIL chose this collection for the quilt I am making them this year--waiting on the mailman to bring me the goodies!

  7. Your Dresden is adorable~ I'm loving all the colors in the post. I think it's the reds. Nice job sewing AND organizing!

  8. OK...consider the source. I cannot shop for fabric online because I cannot visualize how the combinations will work. I am going to have to stick close to you to get a better 'eye'. I love the pillow :-)!
