There is something SO wonderful about completing something :)
I finished this quilt for my niece 3 days before her graduation.
(That's got to be a new record for me!)
The fabric is "Pure" by Sweetwater
and I used a pattern from the book "Sweetwater's Simple Home".
I love the way it came out.
The fabric is so soft and wonderful :)
For the backing I just chose random scraps
to break up the solid backing.
I hand stitched the label :)
And added the date too.
This is only the second quilt that I've actually
"quilted" on my sewing machine.
I couldn't forget to "Thank" my helper, Arthur.
He's in charge of quality control :)
And he matches the colors so nicely too!
And speaking of completion.....
Congratulations to my gorgeous niece
for graduating from Cal Poly Pomona!
So proud of her :)
cal poly...big accomplishment!! congrats!

I hope Jessica doesn't mind sharing with Arthur, because I don't think he's going to give up that gorgeous quilt without a hiss, or at least a swat, lol!
