Happy Monday :)

I know I said I would be posting more.
But the end of July got away from me.
We had a Sewing Day at our new church here in Idaho.
We were making dresses

It was such a great day!
The youngest among us was 11 years old
and had never sewn before.
She ended up making 3 dresses!!!
20 dresses were made in total
and it's so cool to think about the little girls
who will be blessed by them :)

Then I needed to finish up
the 60 Bag of the Month packages for August.
The club keeps growing and I'm so grateful
to all my amazing customers!

I'm sewing as fast as I can
to get an inventory together.
This October we will be attending
 the Needlework Galleria show
 in St Charles, MO.
My bags are "made to order"
so I don't have an inventory laying around.

And last but not least I have to show you
the little giftie I bought for myself :)
Sometimes you just need something
super cute that comes in a super cute tin.
It's called Frivols and now I just need to figure out
when, if ever, I'll have time to sew this little quilt...ha!

  1. What an adorable little quilt! Wow, what a fabulous Sewing Day you had at church! It is wonderful that your group were able to complete 20 dresses. I know your bags will be a tremendous hit at the Needlework Galleria show.

  2. Hi Karen,

I love the sunflower bags you made for your Bag of the Month Club! Totally adorable. I do have a question about the Hands on Design chart that goes with it -- was it designed especially for the Bag of the Month or can anyone purchase it? Have a great day! Beth in PA bafr @ verizon . net

  3. Hi Beth :) Yes Cathy designed it for the Bag of the Month club. I'm not sure if she plans to release it at some point.

  4. It could be argued that the immigration process dates back to the very start of the human race. Since the begining of time humans have migrated from place to place in search of a better life and better security for themselves and their families. In the begining the challenges were purely logistical, how to safely travel to your new home, and how to live peacefully with the people and creatures already there.
