So.....Whatcha doin?

I feel like I haven't had much time to blog lately.
But I'm not complaining.
Just the opposite.
I am thankful to have been busy :)
Today I had some time to play a bit.
I made this apron and listed it.
I do love me some cherries!
And here are 3 of the 6 new project bags in the shop.
I just realized when I posted these pics
that they are all fruit themed....
hmmm  I must have been feelin' fruity!

And last but not least
I'm working on a new project that involves
Christmas fabrics. January :)
I'll show you more in a day or two.

So.....What have YOU been doin?

  1. embroidering some napkins and prepping some trek fabric and hunting for my scissors and hangin with the hubs and reading and two bible studies and driving around in my car, and more driving and more drivin.....the Dot has got to learn to drive...seriously. lol Sewing up the edges of a fleece blankie right now!

  2. love the apron! everytime I'm in JoAnn's I go right to the cherry fabrics , one of these days I'll come home with some lol! the project bags are adorable! I've been working on a yellow polka dotted apron with a green & a pink one to follow, other than that I've been doing more thinking than doing lol!

  3. I just finished a doll quilt in a series by Kathy--and finished a wool wall hanging to name a couple things---
I love your apron and that reminds me I have a collection of apron patterns and fabrics for some--hummmmmm!!!!
    Hugs, Di and miss gracie

  4. My new official favourite fabric has pink and red strawberries, and gets teamed with pink polka dots!

I finished a Christmas gift today (a Santa sack for a g-nephew) and my first UFO of 2013 was completed last night :) I'm also working on some bags to take to Florida with me in March - I have one done and 3 more cut out :) So many things I want to sew, and never enough time!

  5. Great finishes. I have an apron all ready to sew today too

  6. I am working on jammies for Baby Bear. You know the ones with feet? I am constructing the foot part now I want to see how well I am able to attach them. This was an interesting project. It is the first time that I have worked with stretch fabric.

I love all of the project bags and organizers :-)!

  7. I hemmed 2 pairs of pants today. and blog hopped and did lots of laundry and cooking.

  8. Hi Karen,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and becoming a follower! You have a sweet blog here and I love your projects! I agree completely with wanting to start on the Christmas projects early. I plan to do the same! :)

  9. Your project bags are beautiful ;)
