1934 progress report :)

Well I have 6 of my 12 blocks completed.
I'm having such a good time making these
because each one is different.
I don't really enjoy doing the same thing over and over.

The 4 blocks I made yesterday didn't require the special
45 degree ruler that these remaining blocks needed.
I went to M & L Yardage yesterday and found this little beauty.

All I knew was that I needed a 45 degree triangle ruler.
This was the only one they had.
So I bought it and brought it home.
It had a little folded paper with it that tells you how to use it.
I read it.

I read it again.

and again.

Still couldn't figure out what to do with it.
And then it came to me.....!!!
I went to YouTube and found
and in a matter of minutes I was amazed
at all the cool stuff you can do with this!
If you are planning on working with 2 1/2" strips
in a quilt, I highly recommend getting one of these!

  1. gotta love that youtube!!
Really lovin that green and black one

  2. Cool! I'm always looking for another ruler...your blocks look great!

  3. Love these blocks too and a girl ALWAYS needs a new toy right? :o)

  4. I just used a crochet video on Youtube. It's such a great source for this stuff! Off to check out that ruler video.

  5. The blocks look great! I can't wait to see them all together!
